What made you want to be a photographer?
I knew I wanted to be an artist ever since the age of 5. In high school I
took an interest in fashion and studied the photography in fashion magazines such as Vogue and Elle. My family, who has always encouraged me to get involved in the arts, had their own studio and darkroom in the 60's. They gave me their old camera and I started practicing and studying photography all the way through college. Ever since then, I knew that I wanted to do this for the rest of my life.

Where do you find inspiration?
I find a lot of inspiration studying some of my favorite fashion
photographers and checking out the latest fashion trends from the east
coast. Music is another big inspiration for me.

What type of photography do you shoot?
Fashion, portraits, concerts, clubs, cd covers, weddings, etc. Basically
anything having to do with people, events or music.

What is your favorite subject to shoot? Why?
Well, my two favorite subjects to shoot would have to be fashion and music. Fashion because it allows me to have complete control and the most creativity when shooting. There are no rules and I can make it look as crazy as I want. Music is another favorite because I love capturing the artist's emotions and energy on film. There's nothing better than attending a concert or hearing someone sing, and then getting that same feeling when looking at their photographs.

What type of music do you listen to when you're shooting?
When I'm shooting a client, I usually play what they would like or what I
would feel matches their personality/style best. When no one is around and I'm shooting personal work, I usually listen to the sounds of DJ Jojo Groovz, disco house, or some underground hiphop.

What do you look for in your models?
I look for versatility, a unique look/style, patience, confidence and a
willingness to try something new or different.

Who or what influences your style?
I admire the works and style of photographers Markus Klinko, Michael
Schreiber and Ramsay Mead.
